GAAMT FELLOWSHIP PARTNERSHIP

BECOME A GAAMT FELLOWSHIP PARTNER

What is GAAMT Fellowship Partnership

GAAMT Fellowship Partnership brings together groups involved in non-formal ministry training. It is for churches and church networks running church-based training programs. Partners encourage one another and share ideas for more effective ministry training. Fellowship Partnership is not accreditation. It is membership in a community of ministry trainers with similar goals.

Who can join

GAAMT's Fellowship Partnership is open to any evangelical church or church network involved in church-based ministry training and non-formal theological education. We follow the World Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith and the Lausanne Covenant. If your church holds to these convictions and trains believers for ministry, you are welcome. Check out the GAAMT Statement of Faith here.

How to join

If local church leaders and/or church network leaders want to join, you can send an email to accreditation@gaamt.org. There is no formal application form required. We would want to know your name, the name of your church / church network, a brief description of your non-formal theological education program, and state your willingness to be a GAAMT Fellowship Partner. Once we receive your email, we can have a conversation and agree to be part of the Fellowship together.

What fellowship looks like

Fellowship partners are part of a learning community. We stay connected through updates, conversations, and occasional gatherings.

GAAMT sends yearly email updates to all partners. These include news from networks, stories from partners, and practical resources for church-based training.

We plan to host an annual online gathering. This is a time to hear from one another, share lessons learned, and pray together. Attendance is encouraged but not required.

We also encourage open conversation through email, group chats, or other platforms suited to the network. Partners can ask questions, share materials, and connect with others in similar contexts.

Fellowship is informal and flexible. We do not require reports or attendance. We simply ask that partners stay engaged and respond when we reach out.

What fellowship partners receive

Our hope is that in the near future, Fellowship Partners can receive the following benefits:

  • Connection with other church-based training partners

  • Access to teaching resources and training materials from our networks upon request.

  • Capacity building workshops for program directors, curriculum developers and teachers (trainers)

  • Your program name listed on the GAAMT website as a Fellowship Partner (unless you prefer otherwise)

  • An invitation to our GAAMT Annual Online gathering

  • Possible recommendation for local and global conferences related to non-formal ministry education

  • Regular news and updates about GAAMT activities

What we ask of our Fellowship Partners

Fellowship works best when communication flows both ways. We would love to hear your stories. If you develop helpful training material, we encourage you to share it with others in the fellowship.

There is no membership fee. If costs arise for programs or events, we will share these openly. Partners can contribute as they are able.

If your situation changes, or you wish to step back from Fellowship, you are free to do so. Just let us know.
